Katrin Davidsdottir
For Rogue athlete and two-time “Fittest Woman on Earth,” Katrín Tanja Davíðsdóttir, the pursuit of excellence has always been a mental and physical battle. A former gymnast and track-and-field athlete from Reykjavik, Iceland, Katrin first entered the CrossFit Games spotlight at just 19, quickly establishing herself as a rising star. After narrowly missing qualification in 2014 with a sixth-place finish at the Europe Regional, she famously turned the setback into fuel—revamping her training and mindset to capture the CrossFit Games title in 2015, clinched dramatically in the final event, Pedal to the Metal 2.
In 2016, she proved her championship win was no fluke, successfully defending her title and joining fellow Icelander Annie Thorisdottir as one of only a few women to win the Games more than once. Over the years, Katrin’s career has been defined by high-stakes rivalries with athletes like Thorisdottir and Tia-Clair Toomey, as well as her unwavering resilience in the face of adversity.
Katrin has now made 10 career appearances at the CrossFit Games, including a 7th place finish in 2023, underscoring her longevity in one of the world’s most demanding sports.
Currently affiliated with CrossFit Coeur d'Alene, Katrin continues to inspire athletes around the world through her training, storytelling, and entrepreneurial ventures. She is the author of two books—Dottir: My Journey to Becoming a Two-Time CrossFit Games Champion and the children’s book What Is the Way? (co-written with Annie Thorisdottir). In collaboration with Rogue, she also helped design the Davidsdottir Edition Cerakote Bella Bar, featuring her signature “Sled Dog” logo—a symbol of her grit, loyalty, and refusal to quit.
