Product Description

When designing the Rogue Echo Rower, the goal was clear: create a machine that can withstand the test of time, and provide consistent and accurate performance metrics. Sharing the same robust engineering and design elements that define the Rogue Echo Bike, the Echo Rower is built to endure the daily demands of serious athletes and training facilities worldwide.

A fundamental design principle was to develop a rower able to be used in competition. Whether the CrossFit Games, Rogue Invitational or comparing scores from garage to garage in Rogue Challenges, the outputs had to be consistent. We worked closely with a third-party engineering firm, S-E-A, to verify all data outputs would allow this machine to be used in competition alongside the Concept2 RowErg.

The Echo Rower is designed to provide a full body workout, making it ideal for the home gym, affiliates, and commercial gyms alike. Equipped with an LCD console with Bluetooth and ANT+ compatibility, users are able to program workouts and track their performance and monitor their metrics in real time. The aluminum frame construction, paired with premium materials and an aggressive, modern design equate to an uncompromising machine built to perform.

For a complete conditioning solution, the Echo Rower can also be paired with the Echo Bike in a bundled package.

Design Features

Precision Calibrated Flywheel

The flywheel has been precisely engineered to provide a smooth and consistent rowing experience stroke after stroke. Inertia, weight balance, and aerodynamic resistance are calibrated to competition standards on every rower. An integrated damper lever controls how much air is drawn into the cage on each pull, allowing the user to adjust the amount of work required to accelerate the flywheel.

Quick Release Foot Straps

Our patent pending quick release lever design allows athletes to quickly set and release the foot straps, resulting in faster transitions when it counts the most. No more adjusting and loosening a slide buckle during transitions on and off the rower. Once the strap is initially adjusted to the athlete's foot, the quick release lever on the side can be utilized to release and re-secure the strap, allowing for a perfectly consistent adjustment round after round.

Easy Fold for Storage

This space-saving design allows the rower to fold and easily be stored away when not in use, making it ideal for training facilities and home gyms where space is at a premium. The Echo Rower can also be transported while folded utilizing the turf tires and handle integrated into the bottom of the footplate.

Heavy Duty Aluminum Frame

The aluminum frame construction provides unmatched stability, ensuring the rower stays grounded during the most intense workouts, eliminating unwanted movement and providing a stable base for every workout. The aggressive stature and modern lines are not just for aesthetics, they play a key role in dispersing force, allowing for maximum performance.

Summary of Reviews

Customers are overwhelmingly satisfied, praising exceptional build quality, smooth rowing experience, and thoughtful design. Most describe it as a premium, durable home gym machine with rugged, overbuilt construction that feels "built like a tank." Reviewers commend the buttery smooth, consistent rowing motion and realistic resistance. Many appreciate practical features like large turf tires for easy maneuvering, a foldable frame for storage, and quick-release foot straps. A few mention the seat feels less premium than the rest of the machine, and one or two note minor assembly concerns, but these rare issues barely diminish the overwhelmingly positive verdict.

If you’re not a C2 purist get this rower
This is better than a C2 in my opinion, especially @ $1400 with free shipping took 30-45 mins to assemble and came with tools too, has the similar feel in the pull and function of the C2, but it is quieter and smoother with obvious design differences, it folds and the tough wheels with wide base are a good addition I’m a big guy so a-lot more stable , foot clips are good too, if you’re familiar with c2 you may find the dampener lever too far away , but think that’s a design sacrifice worth it so it can fold , had it for 3 months and no regrets like the fact i can roll it out and row outside once im done fold it away

Your next favourite rower!
Entire experience has been great from ordering to my first row. Super easy to setup, the turf wheels make moving around unbelievably easy. The foot straps and quick release mechanism are super ideal and overall I have found the Echo Rower to be as good, if not better than the Concept 2

Needs kneeling on grip.
I wish there was a little knerling on the grip handles. A bit slippery. Otherwise fantastic.

Rogue Echo Rower
The Rogue echo rower is top quality, built like a tank, and has equal mechanics with the C2 machine. I have many hours on the C2 at my gym and I would say the rowing experience is the same and damper settings very similar. The Echo feels heavier and more sturdy and the build quality is top notch. I am very pleased with the purchase. It was easy to put together and the instructions were clear and detailed.

Great machine. Electronics very outdated.
Robust. Well built. Display/logic is woefully outdated. Doesn’t play well with modern devices. For the price and the fact that it’s 2026, it should pair seamlessly with phone or Apple Watch.

Looks good feels good
So far so good. Was easy to set up out of the box and looks well built. Only thing is the rollers under the seat feel a little off and are making some noises that don’t think they should be making and isn’t quite as smooth as it should be

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us! Any buildup on the rail or rollers can cause this feeling under the seat, so we will reach out directly to see if this is the case.

Folding feels like a semi-hack to me
Folding mechanism is extremely awkward. I don’t think it’s that much superior to splitting the concept 2 rower. The roller on the bottom of my seat has a piece on it. Somehow the plastic mold has burrs. So it makes a noise when I roll back-and-forth. I think it’s gotten better overtime as I’ve used it. Other than that it’s good construction, the screen is nice as well as the phone holder is pretty nice. I’m slightly depressed that it’s not made in the USA, but I guess it makes sense. I bought it because my gym ceiling is so low that I need to fold it up … but honestly, I think after having a concept 2 previously I prefer splitting a concept 2 in half. It’s just as easy as folding this thing, but it’s so light that you can actually move it up or down stairs or outside in two lighter and smaller pieces. I don’t think I’d ever haul this thing down with a flight of stairs without taking me apart, which would take a long time. The other thing that’s kind of weird is there’s a piece of plastic you’re supposed to snap on the seat when you fold it up so the seat doesn’t hit the ground at some angles. I’m not sure what the alternative would be the design, but that feels like a weird hack.
