The bar is fully machined and assembled at the Rogue factory in Columbus, Ohio, and includes a Bright Zinc finish, with bare aluminum sleeves loadable up to 80 LB / 36 KG. Few technique bars on the market can match the smooth, reliable spin that comes from using two precision needle bearings per sleeve. The T-10KG Bar goes above and beyond to bring the functionality of an intermediate training bar into the high-end performance category.
A Tech Bar is most effective when it’s designed to prepare you for what’s next, whether you’re a young athlete using your first barbell, an amateur looking to safely practice your form, or an experienced lifter working your way back from an injury. The T-10KG is ideally suited for this, offering a lightweight, manageable Olympic training bar that sacrifices nothing in terms of quality or feel. The use of standard Oly knurl marks and IWF standard collar spacing gives lifters the ability to transition to a competition bar, fully prepared.
The T-10KG Tech Bar is fully machined and assembled in our Ohio plant, and includes an 25mm steel shaft with a tensile strength of 190,000 PSI—on par with some of our top-tier competition bars. This ultra-durable construction, combined with a unique needle bearing design, simply has no equal in the world of technique bars. We’ve also included a Bright Zinc finish across the shaft, with bare aluminum sleeves offering 12.5” of loadable length.
Rogue has long believed that our technique, beginner, and rehab bars should reflect the same level of quality and craftsmanship as any competition bar in our fleet. The T-5KG Tech Bar is part of a growing series of developmental bars we’re building in-house, including the T-2.5KG Tech Bar, T-5KG Tech Bar, 10KG Junior Bar, and more. Each has its own unique qualities and design specs to meet the specific needs of a wide range of athletes.
The sleeves of the T-10KG Tech Bar are fully compatible with most standard size bumper plates, with a max load capacity topping out at 80 LBS or 36 KG.
Rogue prides itself on fast, professional shipping, often with same-day turnaround times. Your bar will be packaged safely and efficiently, and you’ll be able to follow the progress of your order from our factory floor to your door using the online Rogue Shipping Tracker.
The F Scale™ is a durability scale for barbells based on functional testing at stresses similar to what barbells experience when being dropped from overhead. Bars that have been treated with Rogue Work Hardening (RWH™) are designated by having an R in their F Rating™. For more information on F Scale™ click here.
The resistance of a barbell to oxidation depends on the type of steel and the coating. Barbells at the lower end of the spectrum will require more care and maintenance to preserve their appearance than barbells at the upper end of the spectrum.
