Product Description

The Rogue   Ohio Power Bar is fully machined and assembled in Columbus, OH, using 205K PSI tensile strength steel. Approved for competition by the International Powerlifting Federation, this   diameter bar includes single powerlifting knurl marks and a center knurl, with the same deep, coarse (but not overly sharp) knurl pattern as our 45LB Ohio Power Bar. The   bar does have a greater loadable sleeve length than the 45LB bar (16.875” vs. 16.25”). This is a result of the slightly smaller width of the collars.

Rogue 20KG Ohio Power Bar - Black Zinc

The Rogue   Ohio Power Bar is fully machined and assembled in Columbus, OH, using 205K PSI tensile strength steel. Approved for competition by the International Powerlifting Federation, this   diameter bar includes single powerlifting knurl marks and a center knurl, with the same deep, coarse (but not overly sharp) knurl pattern as our 45LB Ohio Power Bar. The   bar does have a greater loadable sleeve length than the 45LB bar (16.875” vs. 16.25”). This is a result of the slightly smaller width of the collars.

The 20KG Rogue Ohio Power Bar includes bronze bushings, a snap ring design, and a Black Zinc shaft with Bright Zinc sleeve finish.

One of the key factors that sets the Ohio Power Bar apart from other powerlifting barbells in the industry is its friction welded sleeves. A technique borrowed from the worlds of aviation and automotive manufacturing, the friction welding process creates a precision, forged-quality bond, resulting in superior strength and fatigue resistance, as well as a finer grain structure on the welded joint.

Key Features of the Rogue 20KG Ohio Power Bar

1

205,000 PSI Steel

The Ohio Power Bar’s 29MM diameter steel shaft boasts a tensile strength of 205,000 PSI, delivering superior rigidity and virtually zero whip/flex. Machined and assembled in Columbus, Ohio, the bar also features a snap-ring design and quality bronze bushings for a smooth, consistent feel. IPF approved for competition.

2

Aggressive Knurl

The bar includes single powerlifting marks and a center knurl, each featuring a deep, coarse pattern that produces a reliable grip / stick without being sharp or abrasive. Perfecting this knurl pattern is both a science and an art. Every bar shaft is machined in Columbus on new Haas machines (built in the USA) and fine-tuned and personally tested by the Rogue team.

3

Friction Welded Sleeves

A technique borrowed from the worlds of aviation and automotive manufacturing, the friction welding process creates a precision, forged-quality bond, resulting in superior strength and fatigue resistance, as well as a finer grain structure on the welded joint.

4

Two Finish Options

The 20KG version of the Ohio Power Bar is available in your choice of two quality finishes. The Zinc option (black shaft, bright sleeves) provides excellent corrosion resistance, while the new Stainless Steel variation (with Chrome sleeves) creates the look and natural feel of bare steel with less upkeep required.

F Scale™

The F Scale™ is a durability scale for barbells based on functional testing at stresses similar to what barbells experience when being dropped from overhead. Bars that have been treated with Rogue Work Hardening (RWH™) are designated by having an R in their F Rating™. For more information on F Scale™ click here.

Oxidation Rate

The resistance of a barbell to oxidation depends on the type of steel and the coating. Barbells at the lower end of the spectrum will require more care and maintenance to preserve their appearance than barbells at the upper end of the spectrum.

*Warranty against bending does not cover any bar which has been damaged due to negligent or faulty use, alteration, maintenance, storage or handling by the user. Negligent or faulty use includes abusive dropping of the bar (i.e., dropping the bar on a box, bench, spotter arms or pins in a power rack, excessive dropping with insufficient or damaged bumpers, or excessive dropping with iron plates, and similar usage). Any specific issues regarding a Rogue product with which a customer is not satisfied will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. We have found that most problems with bars we replace are related to abusive use rather than manufacturing or materials issues.

Ohio bar
Great power bar, the knurling is a bit excessive in my opinion but still a great bar for the price.

Amazing powerlifting bar
I bought this over a year ago and it's been my favourite home gym purchase so far. The bar is very stiff which really helps during squats and bench press. I see people saying that the knurl is aggressive but compared to the cheap bars I've been using it's really comfortable with a good amount of grip. I got the black zinc version. The black zinc has worn off in certain areas (especially where the bar rests on the pegs). Overall I love this bar. The quality is outstanding and I can really trust in this thing. Highly recommended!

Excellent bar
I bought the bar on the recommendation of my coach. It was delivered promptly and has excellent ‘bite’, if you know what I mean. Good looking as well with its black finish.

Competition Quality
So far so good on this baby. Aggressive Knurl - not for everyday use in hands. Ideally for squatting. The collars are pretty slick, need to use collars.

Great barbell!
Bought this barbell for slow lifts (squat, deadlift, bench) and the bar is able to take any type of abuse. Knurling is nicely aggressive too: keeps my hands glued to the bar when deadlifting and the bar on my back when squatting. Very little spin which is great to keep wrists composed when benching. Great bar overall, especially for powerlifting!
