Rogue RML-490 Power Rack

Starting with the same Westside-inspired design as the popular Rogue R-4 Power Rack, the RML-490 utilizes 3x3” 11-gauge steel uprights—making it among the strongest and sturdiest power racks in the industry. Built in Columbus, Ohio, this highly customizable Monster Lite rack is equipped to serve professional strength training facilities, collegiate weight rooms, military training bases, and small garage gyms, alike.

The RML-490 includes Westside hole spacing, 5/8” hardware, and a set each of Monster Lite J-cups, pin/pipe safeties, and band pegs. Both a 43” Fat/Skinny Pull-Up and 43” Single Skinny Pull-Up Bar also come standard.

With just a 53” x 53” standard footprint, the RML-490 Power Rack is a compact unit well suited to custom additions. Popular accessories include the Monster Lite Matador and Monster Lite Safety Spotter Arms.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from "Monster" is the Appropriate Title. I just received it this morning and hastily assembled it. I can tell already it is better than any rack I've ever used, and I could pass this down to another generation if I wanted too. I haven't bolted it down, but I purchased the Stabilizer Bar. I'm a 200 lb guy and can do pull-ups on the front and.. It doesn't move At All. Drop all reservations; this is what you want. It's worth the cost over cheap racks because it's laser cut and made by fitness professionals. This will last you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent rack with one small issue. This rack is incredible. It's super sturdy and will probably last me the rest of my life. I have one small complaint... the safety bars. They seem to be good once put into place, but mounting them is a major pain in the rear. They are basically mounted by a giant pin that has to go through the front and back holes of the rack. This is a pain to do when working out solo. It got to the point where I just left them off and ordered straps instead. Aside from this tiny issue, I would highly recommend this rack.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect addition! I researched power racks for about a month before I decided this was the one. After speaking with the unbelievably helpful customer service my order was placed and even though I ordered it 2 days before Christmas it still arrived only 6 days later! I was a little nervous because the specs say 90" and my basement ceiling gives me 91.5" so if it wasn't accurate I was in trouble. Sure enough because they laser cut everything it was a perfect fit and so well built! I drilled it into my floor because I also bought the Matador Lite and being 300+ pounds doing dips off the front would most likely tip it. That Matador is awesome, snaps in in about 5 seconds and so sturdy while using it. You can't go wrong with any Rogue Products but I will let you this Rack is perfect!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from #1 With safety straps, 3x3 tubing, bombproof hardware, a menacing finish, and concrete anchors this is the most solid rack that I've ever used. It is impossible to get this rack to rattle or budge. My wife jokes that she will chain herself to an upright with our dip belt if a tornado ever threatens. I could not be more impressed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Rack but possibly another option This is a solid and wonderful rack. Very stable, easy to put together and small footprint for the gym. I only wish I knew one thing ahead of it. I am 6'2" and the height of the pull-up bar is a just barely high enough. The Froning version of this adds 10 inches so if you have the room get that. So I am already likely in need of the extension for the uprights to make it work better. Unfortunate as I will spend more in total. Plus I have a set of Safety Pins I won't use. To hard to really use and adjust quickly so I will buy the straps that come standard with the froning rack. And it isn't easy enough to just swap out for a different model. But if these are not a concern you will not do wrong with the purchase of this rack.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this thing This rack is rock solid. I've had it for over a year now and it's great. Very sturdy never moves around without bolting it down. I have it on a deadlift platform and love it. If I could do it different I would have gotten the larger size.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Yippie!!! Luv my new rig! So awesome and fits perfectly in my living room. I was one of those that dreaded going to the gym. But now, everyday at home is a workout vacation. Very sturdy when doing my pull-ups. Just have to say thanks to my boyfriend for the awesome gift!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth Every Penny Like a lot of people, I spent a lot of time agonizing over what rack I needed and what was a good value for my dollar while looking at all of the options online. Luckily for me, I was soon to be traveling back to Ohio for Christmas, and that gave me the opportunity to visit the Rogue store. And that was all it took. Once I saw the quality of the materials and workmanship in all of the gear, I knew Rogue was getting my money. So, in a nutshell: 1. Built it myself in an hour, taking my time, and with nothing more than a ratchet and two 15/16" sockets. Everything fit together perfectly and it was square and level as soon as I tightened everything down. 2. Bolted it to the floor with the hardware purchased from Rogue. Hammer drilled the pilot holes and installed the bolts with my ratchet. 3. An elephant couldn't budge this rack 4. I upgraded to the sandwich cups and strap safeties. Both well worth the extra minor investment, especially when purchased as upgrades with your order. 5. The size of the rack made it easy to add plate storage without interfering with any exercise movements 6. I love this rack and I have no regrets at all 7. On top of all of that, it is made in the USA by a company that values its customers, and that feels as good as hitting a big lift.
