Rated 3 out of 5 by from READ FIRST! The good - a solid product, like the other Rogue products I have recently purchased, including a cage. The bad - at least with this storage pin (as opposed to the bolt on one): 1.) the black finish comes off if you look at it the wrong way, and 2.) this takes up more real estate than the bolt on models - this will take up TWO of the holes that you may want to your safety bars, versus ONE hole for the bolt on model. In reality, how many times are you going to move this thing once you find a good spot, and how hard is it to undo a bolt/nut anyway? Looks great, holds the weight, but I would opt for the bolt on model in the future.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tough As Nails Needed some more storage for weights that was out of the way due to space issues. These were the solution to my problem! On another note, just in response to a prior review below "lean down" I'm pretty sure you just installed them up-side-down! If you look at the pic the hole is slightly higher up, that's the top side. But yes, If you flip it the other way around the plates seam to side off.... I just didn't want anyone to be deterred to buy these, especially if space is tight!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid Bought a pair of these for my RML-390 flat foot rack to provide extra anchoring. I currently have 5 cast iron 45lb plates on each post with plenty of room to add more if I wanted to. The channel storage feels solid (like everything else I've purchased from rogue) and the plates don't slide or move at all. I appreciate the option to have the movable pin version as well as the bolt-on version. If I were storing smaller plates on the rack I might think about the bolted version to prevent the sliding of plates as mentioned in the review above.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy Setup & Looks Great Great way to store the plates off the ground. Was kind of difficult to find a place to fit them so that the plates wouldn't interfere when squatting or benching, but found if we put them on the back side it was our beat option. We do have to scoot the plates away from the stand a little when we want to do squats still, but that's minimal.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from good plate storage option for the rig I'm, Decibel CrossFit, storing (4) 55# comp plates on each pin in my gym and no problems. Solid. I'm sure I could add more weight and be fine. Put them low down and you'll be OK doing bench (the storage plates and barbell plates won't collide). The pin attachment is great if I need to pull them off the rig or move them around.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Storage! These were a great addition to our rack, just about to order another pair! I'm not sure what happened with "Lean Down", maybe they were upside down or put on a rack that was 2x3? Absolutely rock solid, no slack, no lean whatsoever. We have 210 kilos on two pins, all the way to the edge and none have ever fallen off.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Lean Down I bought 8 of these to use on my rack. Plan was to have 55s on bottom, 45s, 35s and 25s, then change plates on top. They're easy to install and remove. They have no trouble holding 4x 55lb plates as far as bending or support goes. The major issue with these storage channels is that they lean downwards. Theres slack between the rack and the U-joint of the channel. Because the channel only has one pin support, this slack causes a downward lean. I've had change plates and 25's fall off my rack after re-racking a bar - kind of embarrassing when you have some buddies over to lift. If you were stacking 55s on the bottom of a rack like the other review they'd be fine. I wouldn't recommend them, however, for a complete storage system up the side of a rack.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Well built, could be slightly better First of all, I really like these and they are very strong. The materials, manufacturing, and welds are excellent. I purchased 8 total. I don't foresee needing to quickly adjust the spacing of my plate holders anytime soon, but it made setting up enjoyable - very little planning was needed, I just kept adjusting the positions until everything looked and functioned the way I wanted. But... the powder coating on one was not up to par. The oils from manufacturing weren't removed in one spot and the coating quickly broke down and chipped off in large flakes. Not a deal breaker, but a simple quality control issue. I didn't contact Rogue because I'm going to end up rubbing off the paint eventually with use - this one will always stand out because of the fairly large area the paint flaked off of but it's purely cosmetic and doesn't bother me. If I could change one thing I would like the steel tube be angled up 1° so when its mounted on the rack and hinges on the pin it sits dead level. I half this one my half-rack, and overall this is an easy recommendation.
