Utilizing the same precision machining techniques that we apply to our barbells, the newly redesigned Monster Plate Storage Posts provide a tighter fit on the uprights and a firmer hold for the hubs of bumper plates. We’ve also included the ultra wear-resistant thermoplastic material Acetal to form a protective exterior sheath that delivers a sleeker, more uniform appearance than standard UHMW plastic.
The Monster Plate Storage Pin is available in a Keyhole style and two lengths (6.75" or 12.75" (loadable length)). All versions are intended exclusively for use with Rogue Monster Series power racks and are NOT compatible with our other lines. You can order your Monster Pins in a multitude of package options: single, pair, 4-pack, or 8-pack.
Keyhole Pin:
Includes a specialized nub for installation into the keyholes of a Monster rack/rig. NOT compatible with standard 1” holes.
Note: All metal parts of the post, regardless of the size and variation, are finished in Black Zinc.

Threaded Post w/ Acetal Cover
Consists of a 1" diameter (6.75") threaded pin and 1.9" OD (12.75") machined Acetal plastic sheath. Acetal is a high-end thermoplastic material noted for its light weight, low-friction, and wear-resistant qualities. It offers a unique combination of strength, rigidity, and dimensional stability beyond that of traditional plastic coatings, not to mention a more consistent, uniform appearance. We've also included (2) Acetal Washers that sandwich each side of the upright to keep the powder-coat protected from any damage.

Set Up with Wrench + Threaded Nut
The storage pin comes standard with a machined nut that goes through the threaded end of the post, on the opposite side of the upright from where the plates are stored. Users can tighten this nut with one of our 1" Monster Wrenches (these wrenches come standard with our Monster Racks but can also be Purchased a la carte).

Best Plate Storage Options for Monster Series!

It fits great on a non standard rack w 3'' holes
I bought two of the shorter ones and two of the longer ones, they're easy to install and are really sturdy plus they can hold allot of weight.
The other kind would've not fit on my rack.

So Far So Good
I've had a pair of the 6" and 12" weight pins for a couple months now and so far I've enjoyed them. They are one of the nicest, cleanest looking rack-based weight storage options I've seen and look great. On the 12" pins I currently have 150# worth of bumpers on mine (3x 45s and 1x 15) with no visible sag. I was a little worried about that when I bought them, but so far it hasn't been an issue. You can't really fit much more than 4x 45 lb bumpers on each one which I feel is reasonable and I wouldn't be worried about sag at that level. If you stack the pin with thinner steel plates, you might run into issues. I've just loaded the 6" pins with small change plates and don't have any doubts they will hold up well. Overall, great. Plan on buying another set or two of 12" pins. The only downside is the price. These are about the most expensive weight storage option I've seen.

Best pin for power rack
Top notch quality, and there is no movement at all on the rack. These are pricey but absolutely worth the money.
p.s. I did not have the opportunity to purchase a Rogue rack but have a 3 x 3 with 1 inch holes. The *keyless* version works perfectly.
