SML-3 Rogue 108" Monster Lite Squat Stand

SML-3 Rogue 108" - Monster Lite Squat Stand
SAML-24 Monster Lite Safety Spotter Arms (Pair)

SML-3 Rogue 108” Monster Lite Squat Stand

The SML-3 Monster Lite Squat Stand combines the 3x3” 11-gauge steel tubing of Rogue’s Monster Series with the 5/8” hardware and Westside hole pattern of the S-Series.

Like all squat stands in the Monster Lite line, the SML-3 operates within just a 49" x 48" footprint. But its 9-foot height and adjustable pull-up bar make it more like a power rack when it comes to training options. Alternate from squats to bench press, pull-ups to floor press. The SML-3 makes for a dynamic, affordable addition to any home gym, collegiate weight room, or CrossFit affiliate.

SML-3 Rogue 108" Monster Lite Squat Stand is rated 4.9 out of 5 by 23.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Way Sturdier than I expected Bought this while considering the Monster series, and chose this for cost reasons. I was shocked at how sturdy this is, though, I ended up making the right choice. The bolts are all 5/8" thick, the steel is thick gauge and the powder coat finish is well done. The J-clips have nice UHMW plastic to protect your bar's knurling. I firmly believe I'd never tip the rack over without any additonal bolting or support in my normal usage, even if I had a sketchy racking of 200kg. You can tilt it a little bit with something like that, but the tipping point seems very difficult to reach. I just store some plates on the back and side and it never tilts at all now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Home Gym Just received this today. First impressions, this stand is excellent for a home gym . Very clear, simple instructions and takes about a half hour to put together (keep in mind I am not very handy). Opted for a single pull up bar and set it to 7'10 and I am able to butterfly just fine (I'm 6'2). Negatives: No way to bolt it to the floor and it swings when I tried to rip off a few butterfly pull ups. Some weight on the back end or drilling into it and putting some concrete sinkers might do the trick. Seems like a pretty simple fix. Probably going to call Rogue and see what they suggest. Overall: If you are on a budget, but want a durable, well made, easy to assemble stand buy it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Squat Stand for any money After checking reviews and a s*** ton of other Squat Stands pulled the trigger and bought the SML-3 108". I am 6'1" and the 90 was to short for dead hang pull-ups. May garage is 108" so Rogue custom cut to 104" and everything is great. I was going to cut it myself but for the $47.50 it was done perfectly, even and painted. This rack is solid thought I would have movement problems with pull-ups, I'm 240, this thing does not move. Great product, better than anything else on the market, and made in the U.S.A.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Squat Stand! I've had this for a little over a month so I figured I'd do a review. I was anticipating something sturdy but I was still slightly taken back at how monstrous this thing is (no complaints here). I was debating between this and the SML 2 but decided on the SML 3 so I could hang freely when doing pullups (I'm 6 ft and have long arms). I also opted to do the single skinny bar. Glad on both decisions. I bolted the pull up bar slightly above my arms reach when the are extended up. One thing i noticed is if you want to attempt ring muscle ups, it looks like you can with this stand (be sure its either bolted or somehow securely weighed down). I'll keep adding more things to it as my budget allows. All in all, Im really happy with this stand and wouldnt switch it for another.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love my gear ! As someone that picked up powerlifting about 13 years ago (I'm now 44) - the luxury of having this equipment in my basement is simply amazing. The build quality far exceeded my expectations - wow! My 13 and 10 year old sons want to start lifting - so cool that this equipment will be legacy investment pieces that will take us far into the future! Will be creating a platform here shortly for the rack to sit on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Like a tank I went back and fourth about which squat rack to get for my home gym, i am 100% satisfied with this rack. I am 6 foot 3 and love that i can do dead hang pull ups. The rack is very solid and with the squat base plate storage i can use the Matador on either side without it moving. If your in the market for a squat rack dont waste your time on some import garbage and get a rogue rack thats made in the USA.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from First Class Product Very happy with this stand. Strong, well made, good looking. Price for this quality is very fair. It will likely outlast me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality item Very sturdy US made piece of kit, excellent powder coat finish, high grade monster size nuts and bolds, easy assembly it took me about 30 minutes to put the rack together on my own. I’m 1.90 but this rig is so tall that I can hang from the pull up bar without my feet touching the floor. It’s more stable than I imagined too, I weigh 90 kilo’s, there is some movement when I attach the matador dip accessory on the outside of the rig, but it still feels safe and secure. The only small remark I have is the lack of height on the Westside hole spacing on the uprights, when bench pressing I’m out of range (but I’m tall and have monkey arms, so that’s not likely to be an issue for most people)
