Rogue Device Firmware Updates

To ensure your Rogue Echo Rower, Echo Bike, Echo SKI, or Rogue | Woodway Curve LTG Treadmill stays fully optimized and compatible with apps, it’s important to keep the firmware up to date. Below are step-by-step instructions for checking and installing firmware updates for each product.

Echo Rower – Firmware Update Instructions
Requirements:
- Latest version of the Rogue App (iOS or Android)
- Bluetooth enabled on your mobile device
- Monitor powered on
Steps:
- Open the Rogue App on your device.
- Turn on the rower monitor by either pressing and holding the Home button or pulling the rower handle. On the rower monitor, select Connect.
- In the Rogue App, tap More in the bottom right corner.
- Select Rogue Device Manager, then tap Scan for Devices.
- Choose your rower from the device list.
If you have multiple Echo Rowers or Bikes nearby, verify the Console ID matches your device. - If an update is available, a prompt will appear showing Update in the lower right corner. Tap Update to begin.
Note: The process may take several minutes. Progress will be displayed in the app. - Once the update is complete, the monitor will reboot.
You may briefly see additional messages on the monitor during this process. - After reboot, the updated firmware version will be shown in the Device Manager, and the Update option will disappear.
- You can confirm the current firmware version manually by navigating to More Options → Information → Product ID on the rower monitor.

Echo Bike – Firmware Update Instructions
Requirements:
- iOS Device
- Console must have at least 25% battery
- Latest operating system installed
- NRF Device Firmware Update (DFU) app installed

Steps:
- Download and install the NRF Device Firmware Update app from the App Store.
- Save the firmware ZIP folder (received via email or download link) to your device.
- On the Echo Bike console, press and hold the Connect button for 2 seconds.
The Bluetooth and ANT+ icons should begin flashing, indicating pairing mode. - Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile device.
Note: The Echo Bike will not appear in your standard Bluetooth settings list. This is expected. - Open the NRF DFU app. Tap Select File and locate the firmware ZIP folder you saved.
- Tap Select Device, and choose your Echo Bike console from the available devices.
Tap Start to begin the firmware update.
Once complete, the console will automatically restart.
Your Echo Bike console is now running the latest firmware and ready to connect to supported training apps via FTMS protocol.

Echo Bike M2E Monitor – Firmware Update Instructions
Requirements:
- Latest version of the Rogue App (iOS or Android)
- Bluetooth enabled on your mobile device
- Monitor powered on
Steps:
- Open the Rogue App on your device.
- Turn on the rower monitor by either pressing and holding the Home button or pulling the rower handle. On the rower monitor, select Connect.
- In the Rogue App, tap More in the bottom right corner.
- Select Rogue Device Manager, then tap Scan for Devices.
- Choose your rower from the device list.

Echo SKI Monitor – Firmware Update Instructions

Steps:
- Open the Rogue App on your device.
- Turn on the rower monitor by either pressing and holding the Home button or pulling the SKI handle. On the SKI monitor, select Connect.
- In the Rogue App, tap More in the bottom right corner.
- Select Rogue Device Manager, then tap Scan for Devices.
- Choose your SKI from the device list.
If you have multiple machines nearby, verify the Console ID matches your device. - If an update is available, a prompt will appear showing Update in the lower right corner. Tap Update to begin.
Note: The process may take several minutes. Progress will be displayed in the app. - Once the update is complete, the monitor will reboot.

Rogue | Woodway Curve LTG Treadmill – Firmware Update Instructions
This guide walks you through updating the firmware on your Rogue | Woodway Curve LTG Treadmill using either an iOS or Android device. Follow the steps carefully and only proceed when the treadmill belt is running, as indicated below.
Before You Begin (Required for Both iOS & Android)
- Start walking on the treadmill. The belt must remain at 2 MPH or higher for the entire update (approximately 4 minutes).
- TEnter OTA Update Mode. Press and hold the “-”, “+”, and “PAUSE/STOP” keys at the same time for ~5 seconds. The console will display “OTA” and a Bluetooth icon, or the screen will flash.
1. Download the Required App
iOS Users
- Download “SUNRISE OTA” from the App Store.
- Ensure your device can receive emails, as the firmware file arrives as a .bin attachment.
Android Users
- Download “anplus-ota” from the Google Play Store.
- Ensure your device can receive emails with a .bin attachment.
2. Connect to the Treadmill via Bluetooth (Both iOS & Android)
- Open the app you installed.
- Tap “START” to begin the OTA process.
- Tap “Scan Bluetooth.”
Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your device. - Select the treadmill console labeled “F63” from the device list.
If it doesn’t appear, tap Refresh.
Once paired, continue to Step 3 for your operating system.
3. Load the Firmware File
iOS Users
- Tap “Start to Load.”
- If the inbox is empty, open the email containing the .bin attachment.
- Tap the attachment, then use the Share icon to send it to Sunrise OTA.
- The file will appear in the Sunrise app inbox.
- Tap the file to select it.
Android Users
- Tap “Start to Load.”
- If the inbox is empty, open the email containing the .bin attachment.
- Tap and long-press the attachment, then select “Save.”
- Choose a directory and save the file.
- Return to the app when the file is stored on your device.
4. Begin the Firmware Update (Both iOS & Android)
iOS Users
- Tap “Start to Update.”
- The app will display progress as the firmware uploads.
This takes roughly 3 minutes—keep walking and keep the treadmill powered. - When the update reaches 100%, the console will beep and automatically restart.
Your firmware update is complete.
