  • 1Patented Locking Mechanism

No matter the movement or how much weight is on the bar, every weightlifter should expect consistent, reliable performance from a set of collars. The innovative clamp mechanism of the HG 2.0 Collar is patented for its fast-locking action and distinctive red tab. With Version 2.0, the addition of a spring in the tab makes it even easier to both lockdown and quickly remove the collars as athletes move through their regimens. There's no sliding down the bar, and no question as to whether the collar is locked in.

  • 2 Improved Design, Greater Bar Protection

HG Collars are made from a lightweight but extremely durable nylon resin with a smooth contact surface that won’t damage your plates or bars. The updated design also includes new and improved rubber padding for a better grip on the bar sleeve, top quality stainless steel hardware, and embossed Rogue HG logos.

Rogue HG 2.0 Collars is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 191.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from 3 years in, still on the first pair I have a garage gym. Purchased one pair of the Rogue HG 2.0 collars in 2017. Over the last 3 years I have trained 3-6 times per week, deadlifts, squats, bench, also used this with my landmine and on a trap bar. They are getting shocked when the bar gets dropped in a deadlift (albeit from waist height at most, I'm not doing crossfit style lifts and dropping from overhead). They've never slipped and they're still working perfectly well. I don't throw them around and store them up high where the kids can't get to them when not being used, but they've been durable. I see no reason to go to the more expensive metal collars given the durability and price of these. They do what they are supposed to. Will buy again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Holds tight The best collars! I have had a consistent problem with collars slipping when I lift. Even on deadlift my plates move the collar and I constantly have to adjust mid workout. This is probably because I have a cheapo bar and one side seems to be a smaller diameter than the other. I was getting very frustrated in my gone gym until I bought these collars. The weights don't budge! And they're easy to adjust. A vast improvement over the first HG generation of collars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Collars out there I've owned a couple of collars throughout the years, I started with cheapo amazon plastic collars, stepped up to Oso mighty collars about a year ago and now i'm here with the Rogue HG 2.0 Collars. I wanted a collar with a bigger more easy to grip handle compared to the OSO collars these are much easier to take off, especially with the new spring release. These 2.0 collars hold onto the bar very well, especially during workout were you drop the bar onto the ground from overhead. They're a little tough to get on when you're lifting off a rack, I figured out a good way to hold the clips with both hands which made it easier but when I'm lifting with a buddy they always seem to have trouble the first time they try to use my collars. If you're looking for a reasonably priced collar with super holding strength than I'd recommend these bad boys.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Collars and Toughs... Grace, Fran, DT...the work rate turns into fatigue, you have to ditch the bar, it hits the find yourself constantly realigning the weights adjusting the stiff sprung collars which burn your forearms even more? HG Collars are solid, most likely invented by Dr.Emmet Brown as I firmly believe this is some future technology right here! The plates aren’t going anywhere, they are held securely in place by grip that would put gravity to shame. Buy them, use them, recommend them, never look back...we don’t need spring collars where we’re going!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Rogue Collars So far so good. Out of the four pair that I own one pair has had the rubber inside has come un-glued. Only problem so far. They do lock tight. I do like that.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice collars that do not come loose. Bought these for Oly lifts, I was tired of readjusting my old cheap collars. These work perfectly at keeping the plates in place. Only downside that isn't noted, is that they are hard to clamp. I'm 6'ft 200lbs right now and it's a struggle to get them on with one hand sometimes and you need to make sure not to get a finger caught, guessing that would do some damage. So compared to cheap collars, they are slower to apply and remove, but perform way better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Collars They are great, high quality, and very practical collars that keep the weight on well. I bring them with me to my gym because they do a substantially better job than spring collars, and they are easier to put on.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Collars - Just one flaw I have used these collars fairly extensively, first in a commercial setting and then in my private home gym. These are excellent collars for the price, and I would recommend them for 90% of instances. The only flaw, which I observed only once in a year and a half of use at a commercial facility, is the plastic portion which secures the collar tend to break with a lot of use. This happened in under 4 months on a pair of collars in my home gym, and I suspect the cold temperatures in a garage gym are partially to blame. The plastic clip is not essential for powerlifting applications - the collars are tight enough not to unlock during controlled movements - however for weightlifting they would likely come unlatched. If you are using these in an 'austere' or no frills (i.e. 60 degree temp or below on average) conditions I would recommend going with the new all aluminum collars Rogue has available.
