The Rogue Abram GHD 2.0

The premier training level Glute Ham Developer on the market—now with easier/smoother adjustments and greater portability at the same budget-friendly price.

Like the original Rogue Abram GHD, version 2.0 is a comprehensive tool for midline stabilization and the strengthening of hamstrings and glutes in a way that's functionally transferable to an athlete’s sport.* The split pad is horizontally adjustable and the vertical position is in the ideal angle for peak muscle recruitment, helping the user develop core-to-extremity power and strength. The new Abram’s key improvements were made through a combination of customer feedback and design innovations from Rogue’s own heavy-duty Monster Swing-Arm GHD.

The goal: to re-create the Abram GHD with an advanced 10-slot roller assembly that makes adjustments easier without sacrificing stability, durability, or affordability.

The finished product is a state-of-the-art GHD that’s fully adjustable with minimal effort and equipped to remain steady while generating peak power output. With a set of wheels and handles included standard, it’s also the perfect Glute Ham Developer for any garage gym or training facility where space is at a premium. Adjust it, use it, move it. Make it work for you.

*It's important to note that GHD training also allows one of the only safe ways to actively train your spinal erectors, and GHD sit-ups result in the most powerful abdominal contractions of any movement in the gym. The midline stabilization gained acts like an intrinsic weight belt protecting the spine and improving sport performance.

Excellent if the design is tweaked
Robust and stable. The only problems I've found are: 1. The adjustment for the vertical position of the foot plate is easy to miss and not strongly self-locking, meaning that the plate can come off catastrophically before you learn of the existence of the height adjustment, 2. The angled legs make it hard to position a bar underneath for weighted hypers, and 3. The horizontal foot plate adjustment should be able to go back further to better allow long-legged people to work their back by bending at the waist.

A must have if you have the space
I went a little overboard on my home gym but this is something I use daily. Solid and very well built. Not one negative thing to say about it.

Heavy, stable, comfortable
It takes up a good chunk of my basement gym, but the movements it supports are so important to my fitness. Play to your weaknesses, as they say. I do wish id had a vertical hand hold down by the foot rollers. There is nothing to hold on to while you are hopping into position. Otherwise, a great piece of kit.

Skeptical at first but this is a solid piece!
Having trained with the first generation at our local gym for many years I can really appreciate the multiple improvements. 1. Very easy to adjust, compared to the previous version that often gets jammed or worse sometime appears to be locked but it isn't and the feet restraint will come off. 2. The 2.0 version has a much lower crossbar, making it very easy to get on and off. Totally recommend this product.

Superb quality
I received my Abram GHD a few months ago. I had never actually performed a glute/ham raise in my life, so it to a little practice. After a few weeks of incorporating this exercise into my routine, I started to get really good at it. It's a very beneficial part of my leg workout. The machine itself is extremely good quality. Very solid and well made. I figured if I was going to have a somewhat large piece of health equipment in my home gym, it might as well be a quality piece of US made equipment.
