Rogue athlete Mary Theisen-Lappen has consistently embraced challenges, transitioning from her days as a competitive thrower to her current pursuit as an Olympic weightlifter.

Tomorrow, she competes in the IWF World Cup amidst fierce competition in her weight class and against her own teammates with the aim to maintain her Olympic qualifying position. If successful, she will advance to the grand stage, where Team USA looks to secure their first gold medal in women’s weightlifting since 2000.
