Rogue Oly Lifting Straps

Rogue’s 10” Oly Lifting Straps are manufactured in Ohio using a nylon webbing sewn into a single closed loop. The simple set-up and short overall length of these straps makes them ideal for quick-release movements like snatches.

Nylon weightlifting straps are generally more cost-efficient than leather and more durable than a lot of cotton straps on the market. They also have a unique texture and feel that some athletes prefer for getting a smooth, consistent release off the bar. We recommend testing out different types of straps to see which best match your needs and comfort level.

worst straps
both straps are sewed the same direction, which makes one strap not lay flat on the bar, straps are very slick even once worn in they still dont grip the bar. do not recommend. do not buy closed loop straps that arent left and right handed. Rogue please find different strap webbing and please over lap the other side of the strap so both straps on each hand lay flat on the bar.

Straps are too short
The straps are too short to wrap the bar tightly. Only good for hand protection rather than helping with grip.

Not as good as leather straps.
Straps are decent but I prefer leather straps so far.

Excellent product
I really like these! For years I tried to learn how to do the straps that you have to wrap--and just could not master it. These are a nice alternative. I tend to use them with dumbbells, they are light and quick to wrap and tighten. The material is very strong and helps me sustain my grip.

Great buy
Great buy, but doesn’t allow you to get full wrist flexion on clean catches.

They are okay
1) slippery - I’m sure they will be fine once worn in, but these are taking awhile on being used 5 days a week doing snatch/CJ 2) a little short for my liking They do an okay job, I’ve had better straps; but will do the job if you need something quick.

Not deadlifting straps
A lot of people don’t realize that these aren’t deadlifting straps. They’re not left/right hand oriented because they’re one closed loop compared to the “slipknot” style straps. Also these don’t cinch down really tight because you don’t want that when snatching or doing c&j. Just thought I’d clear up confusion I’m seeing in other reviews.
