Dumbbell On-Ramp is one of BTWB’s new “Varied Not Random” training programs, devised and led by two of the most experienced CrossFit coaches in the world: Pat Sherwood and Adrian Bozman. With three workouts per week across 8 weeks, this program is designed to help athletes improve their efficiency with dumbbell movements, as Pat and Boz’s accompanying video tutorials focus on a specific theme each week, progressing from basics to gradually more complex DB workouts. 

Each workout contains elements that were created specifically to drive progress forward, ultimately covering over 20 different dumbbell movements in total. Along with the weekly theme videos, helpful demonstration videos are provided for every workout AND each individual movement.

Am I Ready?

This program is ideal for someone with a basic understanding and capacity of bodyweight movements such as air squats, push-ups, ring rows, etc, but is looking to expand their knowledge, capacity & fitness through the use of dumbbells. If you are not familiar and/or comfortable with the bodyweight movements we previously mentioned, we highly recommend you start with the Bodyweight On-ramp course before you begin the Dumbbell course. If you feel ready, but you are not familiar with dumbbell movements don’t worry, we’ve got you covered! Demonstration videos are provided for all of the movements.

BTWB will also provide a downloadable eBook version of the program, via e-mail, which is the customer’s to keep and revisit for all time.

From the BTWB App, users can customize many aspects of the program, including the number of sessions they want to complete each week, as well as which days those sessions land on. If the entire program isn’t completed the first time through, users can jump back in at any time where they left off.
