The next reinvention of gymnastics ring straps is here. First seen at the 2011 CrossFit Games, the athletes and judges loved this system.

There is no better strap system on the market and we've made it available in both 8' and 6', working perfectly with the typical 12' or 9' upright heights. The carabiner and hook system allows for 3" adjustments; this allows for exacted lengths, preventing the need for minute adjustments. The absence of the strap clip can also prevent the arm abrasions and cuts characteristic of an intense ring training session.

The competition straps come complete with two of our new straps and four D-shaped carabiners. The carabiners are bent-gate locking, each with a closed-gate load bearing strength of at least 18 kN, 4046 lbf. You can't go wrong with this new competition strap. They've been approved by the fittest on earth.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful, the only strap to get! I love these, I have several sets for my CrossFit gym. They are quite durable and never, ever slip during a workout. As far as the wooden rings go, they are quite pleasant to work on and people like them. The metal rings can be kept clean better but really hurt when people smack their heads on them! In fact, I want to replace all of my old straps with these competition straps as all the other kind slip now - immediately and without fail. They are so terrible that I had to put them all away. (Rogue straps and rings.) I don't see these for sale by themselves but I'll keep looking.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The best rings option for general training I'm not a gymnast. I do pretty basic stuff on rings: pullups, dips, body rows and pushups mostly. If you want to quickly flip from ring push ups to pull ups during a workout without spending a half hour adjusting strap lengths, these are a must have. I only give these 4 stars instead of 5 because Rogue could make it even easier to adjust the length by putting numbers or color coding the strap positions. The ease of adjustment is the chief advantage of this set compared to the cheaper ones so it would be great to max out that value. Other attributes are solid. Straps and carabiners are strong-- no question of them holding. Wood rings feel great and have held up well for me for 3+ yrs with no maintenance. If you don't already have rings (and you need them!) these are the ones to get.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fabulous Straps System My spouse bought me a set of the 6 ft comp straps with wood rings about 4 years ago, and they have been excellent! Easy to adjust accurately, strong, durable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great alternative the pull up bar I've been thinking about adding this for sometime and glad I did. Definitely can tell I'm using additional muscles trying to stabilize vs. the ordinary pull up bar. Straps are quick to adjust and solid. I was leary of the cambuckles long term with the other straps so was happy to spend a little more on these. Paired them with the wood rings and they feel great in my hands.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome I have had these for about a year now. The competition straps combined with wooden rings.........No better ring set-up available.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Expected better The first set of competition straps I received were misaligned by half an inch. The replacement set were misaligned by an eighth of an inch. While the straps are still usable, it bothers me that they're not perfect.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Must have These are a force multiplier for the already awesome Rogue rings. The set-up, adjustment, take-down, and storage is dead simple and quick in comparison to standard cam-buckle straps. The only edge the standard straps have is in dealing with very tall anchors that you can't reach, or anchors that aren't level, like tree branches, so it's good to have a pair of those around, but otherwise they're a pain. If your bar isn't level, make it level! I have a doorframe pullup bar I wedged with some Gorilla tape to level out. I highly recommend buying the 8' straps. I primarily use my rings in on a doorframe bar that's short enough that I could use the 6' straps and still do pushups on the rings. When I have them doubled up to do dips or rows, I have about 2' of extra strap, go figure. So the 6' would be "perfect". However, that excess is so easy to stow, in so many ways, especially with the carabiners. It's nothing like the ridiculous excess of the cam-buckle straps. And, that extra comes in handy when using the rings elsewhere and doing other inventive things with the straps. I wish Rogue numbered each loop, but it was easy enough to do by myself with a silver sharpie. It's stayed on great, and I highly recommend that mod. These straps make it very easy to remove just the rings so that you can quickly use them for unconventional things: do "ring grip" pushups, use them as resistance band handles, self massage tool, etc. The straps also enable a variety of unexpected uses: use your rings as plate farmer's carry straps, use the carabiners as door anchors for TRX-type exercises with no bar, wrap the rings around the bottom of a door as heel hooks to do Nordic hamstring curls by yourself. Be creative!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the competition rings and straps Working with a ring trainer and he showed me the best items to purchase for home use! Love the fig wooden rings as my hands are smaller and they are easier to grip and come to support!
